I'm desperately trying to fend off "the lurgy" by pretending all is well and following my urge to look at pretty things :) Hence today's little piece for Art every day Month. It was inspired by the deliciously beautiful photo I came upon by Zee Longenecker who is featured in the first issue of toffee magazine (thanks Wini for the recommendation!)
Just gorgeous!
And while I'm on the topic of gorgeous... I wanted to share the beautiful postcards I received from the giveaway Beth Nicholls held. Simply by taking part in the great big postcard swap I got these beauties!
How delighted was I to find them in my letterbox?!...VERY!
And so...I'm off to see what other pretty delights I can find over at art every day.... I WILL NOT
succumb to the lurgy......... cough cough, sniffle sniffle!! :)

I was so excited when I saw your name on the winners list of Beth's giveaway! Anyways, your version of pretty things is so PRETTY! :) I stared at it a while and just thought, "how the heck would you paint a rose like that?!" but you did a great job and the tea cup it's in is fun.
