My Creative Space

I love it how a photo can hide a multitude of sins...reminds me of the holiday brochure photos of the luxury apartment and when you arrive the building site sits next to it which was aptly excluded! :)
So yes, there is a building site immediately to the left of my crafty space, wires hanging out of the ceiling and all! But I shall endeavour to show you the high spots of my space and when the attic conversion is finished I shall be brave enough to show you the before and after photos :)
I've discovered a lovely blog which shares creative spaces every thursday. Soooo many of them out there as you can imagine, very inspiring!...so this is my wee contribution. The "angel in a kaftan" is my current dabble....I sooo wish kaftans would make a comeback :)

  1. I would never have known- you can leave a lot of chaos out of a photo! Apart from the thought of hanging wires etc... out of shot, it looks like a nice bright area to craft in!

  7. Thankyou for stopping by everyone, and for all your lovely comments!
For those who didn't have a mum that floated around in a kaftan when they were a small child...its a long flowing dress with arms that flare out, very popular in the late 60's, flower power and all that! (thats MY interpretation of a kaftan! If anyone out there actually wore one please feel free to elaborate!)

  8. Thanks for the comments on my blog, you should get the book - you'll love it, everyone I show it to buys one!

I love the fact there's a building site hiding from us - my Mum read my blog and said she didn't recognise my home - far too tidy in the pictures! x
