Little dude and the waves

Do you remember the wave book I made for the turquoise colour challenge?
The waves took a little journey home to where they truly belong, under the Florida sky where the sun shines and the smell of sea is in the air. And I'm sooo glad they did return home as this little dude was waiting to dive in! :) These gorgeous photos arrived the other day courtesy of the loveliest lady Jacqui, and don't they just make you smile from ear to ear?! :) I REALLY can't get over quite how adorable this little guy is.....
So this is what has made my week! :)
But I also musn't forget to mention the fantastic video made by Louise, the host of the Creative Colour Challenge. It shows the tapestry of creations posted by the talented artists who got involved. I sooo enjoyed taking part in the colour challenge and met some wonderfully supportive and creative peeps along the way.... I look forward to another one starting in February but now I need to find another source of inspiration, focus and challenge! :)
August has been such a productive month for me in sooo many ways! Apart from making all these colour inspired creations I moved jobs and began my journey as parent preparer/antenatal class "teacher". My 2 year old went from having a "toilet aversion" to being completely potty trained. Yay!! I've also been asked to take part in a craft fair which will be my first in 10 years!! Bit nervous about that one!
Summer however has been and gone in the blink of an eye, and its always this time of year that I wish I'd just appreciated those sunny days and long bright evenings that little bit more! However, now I have these pictures of the little dude amongst the waves there will always be a sunny smiley spot in my home :) X
