The girl and the goat!

"there's really nothing to it", said the girl to the goat....

I'm loving Paint Party Friday because it gives me an added incentive to get painting... so here is one of the sketches you saw last week finished off.....
You may be slightly curious as to what random thought processes lead to this end result??!...and my answer would have to be ..none whatsoever!! :)
This is what came out...bit by bit...slightly intruiging to me too! :) However I do like goats!

I'm posting early as I'm off for a wee trip to Edinburgh (my old home from home) minus my youngest kiddo...wowzer..a taste of freedom:)... a return to some old haunts, vintage clothes shops, funky cafes and cobbled streets... bliss bliss bliss!
So I hope you all have a fantastic weekend..I hope to catch up with you all on Sunday.

Big hugsX

Ps.....you can be rest assured that no goats were harmed or endangered in any during the making of this piece..! :)

  12. A gorgeous painting! Love the paint layer and the lines of white "bubbles". Modern whimsy.

Nothing wrong about putting the girl together with the lamb. Actually I think they work very well together. They both are gentle and lovely. Well matched! ;)

  18. Oooo I love it very whimsicle. And the circles in the background make me happy. The pink and purple remind me of my childhood - they were my favorite colors - I would have died for this as a child. Haha.

    Happy PPF!

  21. Beautiful colors. I love purple and your goat reminds me of the goat I had as a kid. Her name was Pandora. I think the best art comes from having no direction and just ending up where you end up!
