A little ray of "Delight"

You may remember the sketched beginnings of a girl on a swing I showed you a few weeks ago?
I have been working on the painting this week...very tentatively.... as it is a very special piece I have been very honoured and asked to paint. I think I am almost done, a few tweaks here and there....I just hope it brings a smile :)

Come with me to see what wonderful shennanagins are happening over at the Paint Party because it is Friday after all! Yippeeeee! x

  8. I love all your work, and this one just as much. I enjoyed reading your previous post about rings. I love big rings too! I have toned down my wardrobe and live in jeans as well. The older I get, the less I dress to impress. Now I'm letting the gray hair come out to play and am good with it. Wearing rings will never change....makes me happy. :-) Happy Easter.

  22. I love the depth and layers in your piece. It is almost like a hall of mirrors, they draw you in and urge you to look beyond. The colors are superb and I am in awe of your gentile hand with the Queen Ann's Lace. The recipient is sure to be delighted with this one.
