Its Friday...yay!! And I am joining in the fun with Kristin and Eva at their Paint Party Friday....so meet Myrtle, my entry for this week!
I lived for several years with nothing more than what I could carry in my backpack, which made for very easy moving around in order to follow my itchy feet! However there were many moments on my travels that I wished I had a bigger space to accumulate more crafty bits and bobs......aahhhhh...if only I had been a turtle...I could have brought my sewing machine AND computer along too :)
Thankyou everyone for joining in my JOY journal giveaway...its really great to hear all your different suggestions for what you would like to see on the cover.....although there are some things I may need to start practising..namely chickens, snoozing dogs and frogs! :)x
Wow...this is so beautiful..the colors are wonderfully inspiring...and full of life and beuaty! Wonderful!!
ReplyDeleteHappy PPF!

This is so pretty! I love the little scallops on the bottom of his shell -- and is it weird to say I like the way he is walking?
ReplyDeleteHappy Paint Party Friday!
I have to tell you that the other day my daughter was terribly upset that she couldn't "break her neck" and that "her head was too big to fit in her neck". She was trying so hard to be a turtle but it just wasn't working for her! Looks like you're not the only one who wished to be a turtle!

ReplyDeleteBig up for Myrtle! I travelled out of a back pack for years too, ruddy 'eck, that was loads of fun! I missed growing things when I was travelling and had a little miniature tomato plant on my windowsill as a "fairy garden" so that i had something to look after! Have a great weekend Jenny. Hugs, Em xxx

ReplyDeleteNow that is a great name for a turtle! Love it and love the way Myrtle seems to have a spring in her step! My hubby and I went backpacking a few years back and did take a computer with us!!! oh and 200 rolls of film for him! not much room to collect any beautiful things we saw along the way!!! :D
