Sunday Sketches and gifts galore :)


I've been busy busy over the last few weeks focusing alot on making notebooks (all of which are half finished!) and uncovering my dreams (for Louise Gales e-course... all of which are half dreamed!) ...which all in all makes for little reading as a post!
Thankfully I have been sketching!! And so can join in the lovely Sophia's "Sunday Sketch".
These sketches are for a little project at work...thinking about how to get images to promote the benefits of skin to skin (with mum and babe at birth) and the benefits of breastfeeding too.
Little seeds of ideas...no idea where they are going...!!

Ooooh but VERY lucky me.....I've been the receiver of goodies this weekend!
This gorgeous "big stitched postcard" arrived all the way from America and the lovely Sonya Mac!
I love the black and white house against the vibrant red background, and the words read
" a house is built with walls and beams, a home is built with love and dreams".
Just LOVE it :) Thankyou Sonya!

The second goody goodies came from the sweetest Melissa. I won her giveaway over Christmas time and received ALL of these gorgeous stickers,tags and labels!!! My two girls sat as I opened the package and we all ooohed and aaaaahed together :) a funny and sweet moment. Thankyou soooo much Melissa! :)

    I love, love ... the baby bond sketches ... and the arrival of your post card ... makes me wonder about how we drive ourselves crazy ... when something seams late but then it arrives ... RIGHT ON TIME! ... WOW!

    My favourite is the Mother and baby with the words wrapping round. It made me all broody! My baby is 6 now, but at least he still loves a good cuddle.

    Oh just lovely, I love the one that is wrapped around too, but I like the first one as well - giving your child the wings to fly.

    What sweet sketches. Cute little words in the wings on the frist butterfly sketch. I love the first one with the mommy!!! adorable, with the way you have the words.     Lovely sketches and I especially love the bottom right; so full of love and comfort.

    How exciting receiving such lovely gifts. The postcard is wonderful with its colours and mixed media texture. Missy's illustrations are adorable; you are very luck to have won that fab package.

    Love your sketches Jenny especially the little one at the top,just beautiful.. and skin to skin I think there is nothing more beautiful than a mother breastfeeding her newborn,mine didn't want to give it up lol,hmm maybe a should get my pencil out tonight,I'm feeling a bit down,i think you've encouraged me yet again,thankyou beautiful Lady!

    I love your sketches and the idea that you're promoting skin to skin and breastfeeding, the benefits of which are out of this world! glad you got my pacakge. Just the other day I was saying to myself, I never e-mailed those poor girls to tell them their stuff was coming.
