Reasons to be JOY-full!!


What a day! Sunshine and getting swept up in Royal wedding fever .....I'm no Royalist but it was hard not to join in the celebration of two happy people in love....plus it gave the perfect excuse for cupcake making! :)

And of course its Paint Party Friday too...which I have been doing a little of this week...the JOY journals got their covers painted.

I've also been sewing up a storm trying to get a little stock of books for the upcoming exhibition.


And last but NOT least!......I received this gorgeous card from Catherine who was the winner of my last JOY journal giveaway...I just LOVE this little girl with pink hair, stripy socks and a JOY journal nestled in her arms. THANKYOU Catherine :)XX

    Your site is like eye candy - I love dropping in and having a visual taste.

    Your journals are very colourful and intriguing. They must take hours (or even days) to make I imagine - just beautiful.

    I got all caught up in the wedding too. I never thought I would, but I got really excited in the run up and thoroughly enjoyed the whole spectacle.

    The joy journal is wonderful and the sewn books are awesome. I am not into the wedding thing but could be coaxed to go there for one of those cupcakes.

    So much work going on here!! I love your joy journals and the little stitched books are wonderful. I'm not a fan of the royals and missed the whole event as we were in the wilds of Donegal, although I did see her dress in the paper the next day and she was stunning! Your cupcakes look good too!!

    Wow, what a way to combine many artistic mediums into one!
    I do love painting and drawing, but also sewing (costumes for cosplay primarily) and scrapbooking (I thought why not, it definately makes ones photoalbums more fun to look through!).
    Your journals combines all of these, awesome job!
